Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the outside search provider responsible for the results. Napa People Search does not retain a separate copy of those queries on its servers. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to provide and use them to answer your message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create routine server logs that can include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps keep the site reliable and shows which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How This Data Is Used
The limited data described above supports site operations, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Websites
Napa People Search links to government portals, Napa County and California records offices, library collections, and outside search tools. Information submitted to a linked service is controlled by that service's privacy terms, not this policy. The same rule applies to sponsored search results supplied by a third-party company.
Parties That May Process Data
Vendors that host or maintain the site may process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners can receive the automatic information noted above. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Safeguarding Visitor Data
The site uses an encrypted connection. Server logs are kept only for as long as the purposes above require. Since Napa People Search has no visitor accounts, it stores no account password or user profile for an intruder to obtain.
Visitors Under 18
Napa People Search is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted personal information, and we will remove it.
Your California Privacy Rights
Rights to access, correct, or delete covered personal information may apply under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, Civil Code § 1798.100 et seq. Because Napa People Search holds very little visitor data, a request generally involves checking contact messages and server logs and removing responsive information when required. Submit a request through the Contact page. Public records maintained by the City of Napa, Napa County, or California agencies remain outside our control. Requests to remove or correct those records must go to the responsible custodian. Access to government records is separately governed by the California Public Records Act, Gov. Code div. 10, §§ 7920.000-7931.000.
Changes to This Policy
Any revised policy will appear on this page. By continuing to use Napa People Search after an update, you accept the posted revision.
